Reverse Radial Flow Reamers
The key design concepts behind the reverse radial flow reamers are bi-directional (forward and reverse) cutting ability, extreme toughness in an open body design and compact tool length which eases installation and removal in confined spaces.
The success of the reverse radial flow reamer centers around its low mass/high strength core that allows it to perform well in sands, aggregates and light rock conditions. Its open body design delivers exceptional mixing characteristics while the extra heavy wing segments deliver dependable service in tough ground conditions. Add to this precise carbide placement and perimeter drilling fluid delivery and you get unmatched versatility in a single tool, making the reverse radial flow reamer one of our most popular large diameter tools.
Key features include: bi-directional (forward and reverse) cutting, which facilitates pushing backwards out of the hole; large replaceable carbide cutters positioned in independent cutting paths; replaceable fluid ports located along the edge of each wing presoak the path of the oncoming cutters; centralizing ring. All this adds up to a low mass, low torque tool that delivers extremely efficient drilling.

Loams, moderate aggregates, clays, shale and light rock formations.
